Pinky is finished!!!

Well, NEARLY finished. ๐Ÿ™‚

I did manage to finish the quilt top just in time for the Spring Quilt Festival in Exeter last weekend and am very happy with the result.

The colours are very vibrant and photos don’t really do them justice, so you have to believe me ๐Ÿ˜‰

Now I am trying to decide on how to quilt it – if you have read some of my earlier posts then you will know that this decision process can take a while ๐Ÿ˜‰

Just as well, because I don’t really seem to have much time for Hand Quilting these days. I did manage to do an hour last night on a quilt for my dear friend Julie, thankfully she is very patient!

My next project is probably going to be a quilt using ‘Kites’!

I did a sample block while at Exeter (busily stitching away in our Hotel room in the evening – as one does):

It was great fun, but I would recommend that you have no more than 2 Gin&Tonics, or you may end up having to do some ‘un-sewing’…  ๐Ÿ˜‰
