PLEASE NOTE: We measure our Jewel by the length of the LONG side (as shown in the pictures)!
(not by the short side like some other manufacturers)
The Classic Jewel shape tessellates wonderfully with a Hexagon on the short side end and a matching 60 degree Diamond on the long side, to make a ‘Star-flower’ (also known as the ‘Periwinkle’).
We now offer the Jewel shape as an acrylic template in 8 different sizes which match our paper pieces.
Please NOTE: DO NOT add seam allowance to your template measurements!! (the templates come with an added on seam allowance)
Simply choose the SAME size acrylic template as your paper piece!
