We managed to secure this extraordinarily popular book by Willyne Hammerstein published through Quilt Mania.

Like all QuiltMania books this one is beautifully laid out and illustrated.

Looking just like the Venetian crystal sulphurs called ‘Millefiori’, here are Willyne Hammerstein’s exceptional quilts. With few templates, most of her quilts are designed around the hexagon, a shape of which she is especially fond. The layout and colour selection give true majesty to these quilts! For the most experienced among us, there are a couple of projects among the quilts featured here that require a bit of attention…This is a gem for lovers of the traditional style!

In total the book contains 20 quilt projects with pattern instructions, as well as a pattern piece section in the back. So there are plenty of inspirational projects to choose from and all text is presented in bi-lingual form (French and English).
