Welcome to our ’90 degree Pentagon’ page!

 

These Pentagons differ from the ‘Classic’ Pentagons in so far as that they have a 90 degree angle in the ‘roof’ of the shape, and their base is shorter than the other 4 sides!

We currently have two ’90 degree Pentagons’ on offer, These are quite different, so please read:

  • 1″ edge (2.5 cm) on 4 sides with 0.75″ base (1.9 cm) – this pentagon tessellates with a 0.75″ and 1″ Octagons (see pictures)
  • 1.375″ (1 and 3/8th) edge roof, 1.5″ sides, with an 1″ base – this pentagon tessellates with the 1.5″ ’90 deg Kite (short tip)’, and our 1.375″ (1 and 3/8th) ‘Long Honeycomb’ (see pictures). As used in Willyne Hammersteins ‘Floating colours’ (Millefiori Quilts), and also in Sue Daleys ‘Quatro Colour’ pattern.
